Paul and I finally got together to produce some images, that he could then paint in his signature figurative and dot styles.
This image, Busy Being Fabulous was produced with no budget, using a white walled space, a digitally comped background that was shot in Brighton and the use of the lovely Kirsty with her own clothes and make up. Styled between Paul and I, we wanted to shoot the image as close to what the final painting would look like, in terms of its graphic style. Paul then used the photograph to work from and used his preferred canvass of aluminium. The final painting fetched £6000 at the Wanted Gallery (Now GG Gallery) in Notting Hill, London. We are currently in the process of discussing further work. Watch this space…
