Mr Fogg invited me to travel with his band to Reading last friday, to shoot his set on the BBC Introducing stage. The electro pop artist made the most of performing in his home county, by bringing on a marching band to close the set. It was subsequently shown on the BBC. Not only a great bit of PR but it sounded great too!

Some publicity in the Solihull News, covering our collaboration with Paul Normansell.

Tear sheet
I’ve recently put some concepts to Paul and hope to have some more images for him to paint in the next couple of weeks. Watch this space…
If someone would have told me 2 years ago, while I was at Uni, that I’d soon be shooting a rising star at the world famous Maida Vale studio’s, I would have been buzzing my tits off (for want of a perfect phrase). So of course I was delighted when electronic maestro, Mr Fogg, invited me down to shoot his recording for Radio 1’s Huw Stephens.
For me, it was special enough just to be in a building that has been graced by so many amazing artists – the walls adorned with images from Jimmy Page to Paul Weller, the White stripes to the late John Peel, let alone Mr Fogg and his band recording on their amazing facilities, I can only imagine how they felt.
I’ll be heading up to Reading festival with the guys, to shoot their performance on the Radio 1’s Introducing Stage on the 27th August and hopefully obtain some live images along with some back stage antics. Cant wait.

Spot the harpist in the booth!

A little grainy but I kept the flash off, out of courtesy towards the engineers.
I managed to get myself a pass to shoot Field Day last weekend, only to fall foul of unforeseen circumstances. I’m glad I wasn’t shooting a commissioned job but I’m still a bit peeved at the potential portfolio fodder that went a miss. Here’s a few images I shot before the said circumstances took place…
