Mr Fogg invited me to travel with his band to Reading last friday, to shoot his set on the BBC Introducing stage. The electro pop artist made the most of performing in his home county, by bringing on a marching band to close the set. It was subsequently shown on the BBC. Not only a great bit of PR but it sounded great too!

I managed to get myself a pass to shoot Field Day last weekend, only to fall foul of unforeseen circumstances. Last Saturday at the London institution that is the Lock Tavern, saw in part 3, of the the 4 day Becks ‘Music Inspires Art’ weekender. Casper Clark invited me down to capture some of the bass driven shenanigans. It always a good night at the Lock and once again I thoroughly enjoyed myself, meeting some fun people along the way. MR FOGG have been gathering an array of appreciation from the music media of late and following their performance at the Lock Tavern I can see why. Adventures In The Beetroot Field’s day three, of a four day bonanza at the Lock Tavern, played host to Huw Stephens Presents… on Sunday 30th May. Bands included Indie Rock 5 piece THE HIGH WIRE, electro pop outfit Mr FOGG and progressive electronic duo CAPAC. It was an intimate affair, considering the size of the upstairs room, with the three artists providing an eclectic mix of ear candy for one of north London’s top music venues.
